Frequently asked questions

Will my item arrive in time?

Ordering with a deadline? Please take into account the published processing/shipping times posted in order to make an informed purchase. Feel free to contact me prior to placing an order at any time. I cannot rightfully guarantee delivery before a certain date as packages travels beyond my own two hands, but I can often ship your order out ahead of time to help speed up delivery. Shipping upgrades are also available upon request.

Processing delays may occur if required information is missing from your order and/or responses are delayed.

No cancellations, refunds or discounts are provided if these time guidelines are ignored or in the sad case of unexpected mail delays.

My item shipped, where is it?

If your item includes tracking, that number can be found in the order details of your purchase. If a number doesn't appear, tracking was only available for your location at an upgrade (see FAQ on Canadian orders). Please remember I see what you see, I cannot provide any additional information. It is best to reach out to your local post office for any concerns regarding deliveries.

NOTE: We are not liable in the rare case an item is lost, stolen, or damaged in transit. However, some orders include insurance. If so, contact us and we can advise of the next steps. We always recommended you research whether your shipping method includes this option prior to purchase. If not, we are happy to provide upgrade options.

Shipping for Canadian orders

To keep costs low for Canadians, most orders are shipped via Canada Post as oversized letter mail which does NOT INCLUDE TRACKING OR INSURANCE. These upgrades incur high additional costs often as much as the product itself. When shipping issues arise, understandably customers return to me upset and looking for an answer. For my own sake I’d prefer that these upgrades be required. However, AS A FAVOR to my customers they are optional. In view of this, by declining any shipping upgrades, buyers accept all responsibility in the rare case of an order being lost/damaged in transit. I will not provide compensation nor will Canada Post. I hope this situation never comes up but it's a compromise in order to help with the high cost of shipping. :)

Gift wrapping and packaging

All orders come carefully packaged and ready to gift straight from their mailing envelope. Jewelry is usually placed in a decorated kraft box made from recycled materials.

For Canadian buyers: Oversized letter mail limits the size of packages to 2cm thick. Any setting measuring more than 1 7/8" long or 3/4" wide that will not fit in the smaller kraft box will be gift-wrapped in another manner so shipping rates remain low. Cuff bracelets will require the shipping upgrade due to their size.

Custom and personalized orders

I work hard to provide comprehensive information/instructions because I want you to be confident and over the moon with your purchase :)

PLEASE NOTE: that leaves it the buyer's responsibility to read descriptions thoroughly and provide all required details carefully. Failure to do so may result in an end product different than envisioned. However accountability will lie with the buyer, not the artist, as I have done all I reasonably can on my end. If you have a concern during the custom order process please contact me. I am also more than happy to send a photo of your piece prior to shipping.

Will COVID-19 affect my order?

By your support, I am working from home, safe in self-isolation, and still paying bills. Thank you so so much for that gift!

Be aware that postal delays are still common and severe. As I am still avoiding needless exposure to the community, mail drop offs will be limited to once per week. Please allow extra time for delivery.

Will I receive the exact item in the photo?

Unless specifically stated, no. Photography can be extremely time consuming. I would rather keep my items at a lower price point than charge extra to photograph each piece.

What does that mean? Your item is made just for you! And often, can be personalized free of charge (just contact me prior to purchase :). Embroidery is a wonderfully therapeutic art as thread flows back and forth through fabric twisting and flowing in unique ways. This means that an identical technique will produce varied results each time. No two pieces can be identical and often designs are adjusted by the artist to balance the overall design. A little leaf or flower petals may be in a slightly different spot but the overall piece will be your unique work of art.
